Our deepest condolences to the entire family. Mrs. Masseth was a wonderful woman and we have lots of fond memories from all of the pool parties you used to have. She will be greatly missed.

Shirley was a great colleague, but most of all a great friend. She helped me through a very difficult time in my life and was always there for me. I will greatly miss her. Rest in peace my friend.

Even though I can't be there on Saturday, you know Shirley is, and always will be, in my heart. We shared 31 years of friendship: this has meaning and value to me that simply not being able to hear her voice and be physically with her can't change or erase. Today there is a "Shirley-shaped" hole in the core of my being - it will never go away.

Although I never met Shirley, she was a friend, mentor,"sister","aunt" to a very good and cherished friend of mine who did know and love Shirley. My heart goes out to all of you who did know and love her so very much.

I was so saddened to hear of Shrily's passing. We worked together for a long time and she was always the spark of humor that got us through tough times and the model of concern when we needed to hunker down. She was a colleague, a friend and a guide to me. Although I lost touch with Shirley as the years passed she will always have the imprint of her hand upon my heart! Because I knew her, I have been changed for good!

I was a RIT student working in Shirley's office back in the 80s. Back then it was called the Office of Special Events. She was my first boss. I remember that she was glamourous & smart. I hoped one day I would be pretty & smart too. I am very sorry that she is gone.
